ELIZE VENTER (1963) – Elize Venter has been a student of Stefan Rossouw since the beginning of 2018. She finds herself with the master that inspired her passion for creating art on a high level.

Her passion for nature, flowers and old masters motivates her to continue to reflect her enthusiasm in her work as well as to keep improving in quality.

She saw the photo of the old deteriorated wall covered with bright, crisp flowers and immediately knew that she had to capture its beauty.

CHANTELLE VAN ZYL (1976) – Chantelle van Zyl is a new student artist learning oil painting from Stefan Rossouw. She is enjoying every minute of learning and is looking forward to creating beautiful masterpieces.

Oil will surely stay her favourite medium. Chantelle considers herself honoured to try her hand at old master paintings. She says she will always be inspired by them.

Wilma Roux

Wilma Roux - 102 Art (800) Forbidden Fruit

WILMA ROUX – Wilma has painted all her life but started painting in oil under the guidance of Delhia Rovattide Gomes Coelho from grade 8-12 and majored in Art in Grade 12.

After school she painted mainly in water colour and produced plant and grass illustrations for various books of the Botanical Institute of Pretoria and Namibia as well as for the Dept. of Water Affairs over a period of 12 to 15 years.

CORRIE MOOLMAN (1960) – Corrie was born in the countryside (Rysmierbult). As a child, she observed her father’s talent in the paintings on the walls of their home. She always dreamt of trying out her own skills in the art world.

Corrie’s personal relationship with Jesus Christ and His creation inspires her to reflect on the various places and people in her life.

Jancine Laing

JANICE LAING (1957) – Jancine’s art journey began in 2006 when she joined well-known Pretoria artist Elmé Eksteen for oil painting classes. She loved it from the first day and knew that this is what she wanted to do.

With Elmé’s infinite patience and encouragement she gained enough confidence to start selling her art.

Jancine is inspired by colour, flowers, and the contrast between shadow and light.

Retha du Preez

RETHA DU PREEZ (1965) – Growing up on the farm, Goreis, in the Outjo District, Namibia, Retha was given the nickname of “Riki” by her late father.

Retha only took up painting three years ago and after experimenting with various media, she realised that painting with oil is her passion.
