INANDA PAGE (1971) – Inanda was born in Boksburg in 1971. In 1981 she moved to Pretoria, Gauteng where she still lives and works as an artist.

After completing matric at Hoërskool Waterkloof in 1988, she studied Theatre Crafts at the Pretoria Technicon, now TUT, and specialised in Decor under artist and lecturer in fine and applied arts, Jan van der Merwe.

Marnitz Steyn

MARNITZ STEYN – I was born deaf and attended the Trans Orange School for the deaf in Pretoria where my talent for drawing was first noticed. I find the Cape landscape a constant source of inspiration.

Much of my work is an emotional response to the beauty that I see and feel around me and I enjoy interpreting the colours created as the light plays across the countryside.

Fabrizio Caforio (Fuz)

FABRIZIO CAFORIO – “Fuz” as he prefers to be called, has devoted three decades of his career to wildlife art. The exquisite detail and life-like quality of his paintings comes from painstaking research. Much time is spent in the bush and at breeding research stations collecting all the necessary reference material. He has refined his skill and technique over the years to a point where fur patterns and textures are vividly and authentically reproduced on canvas.

Susanna Swart

SUSANNA (SANNA) SWART  (1957) – Susanna was born in Pretoria in 1967. In 1989 she graduated from the University of Pretoria with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree, majoring in sculptur and visual communication.

In 1994, after having pursued a four-year apprenticeship at the Johnson Atelier Technical Institute of Sculpture in New Jersey, USA, Susanna received her technical certifications in all aspects of foundry work. 

Rogerio de Andrade

ROGERIO DE ANDRADE – “I suppose my first influence and interest in drawing characters started at about the age of ten with Hergés Tin Tin. His illustrated adventures have always fascinated me. I collected and read all of his comic books. I enjoyed them so much that soon I was copying his style of drawing.

I invented my own stories and illustrated them too, “a la Hergé”.

Martha van der Westhuizen

MARTHA VAN DER WESTHUIZEN (1948) – Martha was born in 1948 in Cape Town, South Africa. She matriculated at Jan van Riebeeck High School, Cape Town and completed a Diploma in Graphic Design at the University of Stellenbosch in 1970.

After obtaining her diploma she worked as a graphic artist and later as a photographer at an architectural firm in Cape Town. In 1974 she established her own photographic studio
