CORRIE MOOLMAN (1960) – Corrie was born in the countryside (Rysmierbult). As a child, she observed her father’s talent in the paintings on the walls of their home. She always dreamt of trying out her own skills in the art world.

Corrie’s personal relationship with Jesus Christ and His creation inspires her to reflect on the various places and people in her life.

JANICE LAING (1957) – Jancine’s art journey began in 2006 when she joined well-known Pretoria artist Elmé Eksteen for oil painting classes. She loved it from the first day and knew that this is what she wanted to do.

With Elmé’s infinite patience and encouragement she gained enough confidence to start selling her art.

Jancine is inspired by colour, flowers, and the contrast between shadow and light.

RETHA DU PREEZ (1965) – Growing up on the farm, Goreis, in the Outjo District, Namibia, Retha was given the nickname of “Riki” by her late father.

Retha only took up painting three years ago and after experimenting with various media, she realised that painting with oil is her passion.

Marlene Visser

MARLENE VISSER (1958) – Marlene always admired people who painted. When her children were older, she took up painting.

Her first teacher was Salome Prinsloo, from 2002 to July 2004. Due to circumstances Marlene stopped painting but started again in 2013 under the guidance of Bernadette Suttie.

Marlene has been with the Stefan Rossouw Art Academy since August 2018. She always liked the paintings of the Old Masters

WILKO ROON (1983) – Wilko draws his inspiration from his immediate surroundings, the people in Paternoster and Stellenbosch and especially the children, reflected in bright colours unique to his own style.

Wilko Jacques Christiaan Roon, the youngest of three sons, was born in 1983 in Pretoria. Wilko performed well at school and like his two older brothers, was a top art student. After school hours his interest was cycling, and he performed exceptionally well in down-hill and cross-country racing.

Edward Selematsela

EDWARD SELEMATSELA – Edward is a well known artist from the Limpopo Province of South Africa, Ga-Modjadji. He studied art and business at Eastside College and UNISA.

In 1997 he received the merit of excellence award from the French cultural center in Pessac, Bordeaux, France. He had won several art competitions around Gauteng.
